Coping With Having a Small Penis Saturday, May 31 2008

If I meet an angry man, somebody who is truly angry without a reason, I often wonder if the cause might be something as simple as small penis size.

I off course talk from experience of growing up with a tiny (as I discuss in my small penis size website), and I was angry about it. I was angry towards god, I was angry towards my parents, I was angry towards the world.

Think about it, this is what makes us men. This is what differences us from women. And the bigger the penis is, the more of a man we consider us to be.

Even if this is not conscious, this is underlying reality we have. Least for men who have small penis, like I did.

But the real problem is not having a tiny. The real problem is having low self worth. The lesson we were given to learn when we were given a small penis was to face our lack of self worth. We have to learn to base our self worth on our self as a person, as a human bean, not on how much money we make, how beautiful of a partner we have, how big of a house, or car, or our penis size.

We are not angry because we have a small penis. We are angry because we feel impotent. We feel less than other.

Before I managed to make my penis bigger by using some exercises, and self-hypnosis (see my penis size solutions), I started to face my low self worth. Before I saw any real changes in penis size, I saw changes in my social live.

Women I would have been afraid to talk to approach me. Situations where I would have been angry and hostile became happy and joyful. Not because my penis grew, but because my self worth grew.

I didn’t have to be angry, because I didn’t feel as impotent. I didn’t have to be shameful about my self, because my self worth was not based on my penis, but my character, me being part of the human race.

Enlarging my penis only seemed like a bonus. It was like living in a low class block, but being happy there. You don’t have to move to a big house to be happy, but if you do your live might become even better. And I managed to make my small penis bigger, but first I became happy ;-).

This is the attitude you have to have about enlarging your penis. If you think big penis size is going to make you happy, then you are basing your self worth on your penis, but not your self. Get happy first, and then enlarge your penis.

What Is A Down Payment For A House Saturday, May 31 2008

Listen to advertisements for mortgages and you will hear everything under the sun regarding terms. So, what exactly is a down payment for a house?

What Is A Down Payment For A House

Considering today’s market prices for homes and how they have drastically risen, mortgages have become a necessity when purchasing a home. With home prices well over half a million for standard homes in many areas, almost nobody can afford to buy a home out of pocket. For that reason, almost every prospective homeowner looks to lenders to receive home loans or mortgages. These mortgages work by the lender basically buying the home for you and owning the home until you slowly buy it from the bank with monthly payments. The percentage you own is based on how much the value of the home rises after you buy the home and how much of the loan you have paid off.

The primary way to consider your stake in the home, and also to receive a better mortgage deal, is to offer a down payment on the home. Down payments are money that you put towards the cost of the home, meaning it lowers the amount the lender puts towards the home. Down payments work for you two fold. For one, they increase the total amount of the home you owe from day one, to wit, the amount of equity you have in the home. Two, they also show the lender you have some money put away and they will be willing to offer you better rates considering how much you can put down. In general, the worst rates are for no down payment loans and you can receive the best rates, as much as 2 to 3 percent less in interest, by putting around 20 percent of the homes value as a down payment. If you have poor credit, you can get nervous lenders to issue a loan if you put down 25 percent of the sales price.

Down payments are an integral part of achieving the best mortgage possible. If you don’t have any cash put away towards the home, you are risking paying tens of thousands of dollars, if not more, in additional interest compared to what you would be paying had you set aside some money to put towards the home. All and all, it just makes sense to maximize your down payment as much as possible when purchasing a home.

How A Hacker Developed A Winning Golf Swing Saturday, May 31 2008

I’m probably erring on the side of understatement when I say that Bob was a hacker. By his own admission he was: “one of those players who’ve never really had a proper golf swing.”

The way he told it, his main concern was to give the ball a ‘good whack’. As a result of his lack of technique, Bob had spent much of the ten years that he’d been a golfer searching for his ball in woods and long grass. High scores and a high handicap seemed to be his inevitable fate.

Bob and I first met when his employer asked me to coach him to develop his business and leadership skills. When we were working on ‘communication’ I used a technique that I call Mind-Movies. I taught Bob how to groove pictures into his imagination which showed him making successful presentations.

Mind-Movies are a technique that I developed for empowering clients when I qualified as a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (mind-language programming).

One day when Bob had just reported making a very successful sales pitch with the aid of a new Mind-Movie, he asked me, in that slightly shy way of his, “Do you think we could develop a Mind-Movie that would help my golf swing?”

I immediately knew that we could do this. It took a while to work out how best to program the correct images into Bob’s mind. And I also had to work out how to string those images together into a golf swing Mind-Movie. Then it was just a matter of finding ways that he could program himself to reproduce the correct physical and emotional feelings which are an essential part of effective Mind-Movies.

By the late spring we were ready. Bob couldn’t wait to get going. He was hungry to to start winning. There were a lot of people on whom he was keen to take revenge.

He devoured the script I had written for him to study and learn.. However, he knew from his previous experience with Mind-Movies that in order for it to work he had to make sure that he installed this new program properly into his mind.

The very first round he reported ‘noticeable improvements’. He was hitting the ball further and straighter. It was only the odd wayward shot that prevented him posting a really good score. He knew he was on the right track. “It was the first time that I’ve felt like I had a proper golf swing,” he told me excitedly.

Over the next few weeks Bob improved steadily until he felt up to entering a competition. He deliberately chose a mid-week event where he knew that the field would be smaller. He finished fourth in a field of thirty seven players and his handicap was cut by two strokes. This was by far the best result he’d ever had. He was over the moon.

A month later he felt ready to challenge for one of the major championships at his golf club. He didn’t win that one but three weeks later he rang me late one evening to proclaim: “I won!”

At the end of the month I was his guest at the prize-giving where he received his silver cup. From my experience with Mind-Movies I feel certain that his game will continue to improve.

After Bob’s success I decided to publish The Golf Mind-Movies Power Pack at http://www.The-Golf-Bandit.com/golf_Mind-Movies.htm And I now know from the feedback I’m receiving from other golfers that Mind-Movies are also working for them.

The fact that the search term ‘golf mind-movies’ is already number one on Google tells you how many golfers are seeking out this e-book. If anyone you play with shows sudden signs of improvement you may now know why.

Please do your golfing friends a favor and tell them about this book. Send them a copy of this article today.

The Challenge to Accurately Identify ADHD Friday, May 30 2008

With the completion of innumerable ADHD evaluations over the course of my professional career, I have finally arrived at the following important insight: not all ADHD is alike. On the surface, this statement may not initially appear to be quite so enlightening or profound. Yet it does reflect a personal recognition of the variation in symptoms that are often observed in the diagnosed ADHD child. Of course, the DSM-IV provides an ADHD symptom trait checklist to assist clinicians in making the diagnosis. My personal difficulty with this description of the disorder lies in the variability of the commonly observed symptoms that are used to diagnose ADHD.

Not all ADHD is the same. DSM-IV provides three different subcategories that are meant to illustrate the different possible presentations that are all recognized as ADHD. Unfortunately, there is a glaring absence of qualifiers in the checklist that describe severity, degree, and pervasiveness of symptom traits. Misinterpretation and misdiagnosis are frequent outcomes as a result of the clinical judgment that must be exercised by the evaluating professional.

So then how do we reasonably distinguish “normal” impaired attention from that recognized as a prominent dysfunction? If attention normally varies from person to person in the general population, how is it possible to identify when a child or adult is truly neurologically impaired? The best available answer to this dilemma would be the amount of developmentally inappropriate levels of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity impairing one or more important life areas. Unfortunately, this guiding benchmark tends to rely on a diagnostician’s clinical experience and judgment rather than an objective measure of symptom traits.

As I continue in my efforts to evaluate children for ADHD, I have come to realize the differences more than the similarities of those children who I have diagnosed with the condition. Hyperactivity and under regulated physical energy tend to be my most compelling symptoms to support an ADHD diagnostic. However, there have been occasions when I have experienced diagnostic ambivalence as when I observed a hyperactive child who was still able to focus his attention for reasonable intervals with a concerted effort. Another unusual example was observed in a truly hyperactive child who was easily able to stop all excess movement and activity in order to cooperate with a 20 minute individual interview. A final atypical example of ADHD symptoms occurred in the presentation of an ADHD child who despite extreme visual distractibility and physical hyperactivity was still able to monitor and even participate with adult conversation during the parent interview.

These unusual presentations of ADHD children have provided me with invaluable diagnostic experience. I have come to accept that there is a variable range of ADHD symptoms that can substantially challenge even the most experienced of clinicians. More importantly, not all ADHD is the same. While there tends to be a grouping of typical symptoms that describe the condition with or without hyperactivity, one must still be prepared to recognize deviant presentations of disruptive symptoms that still must be recognized as actual ADHD.

Perhaps of even greater importance is the recognition of attention as a complex brain activity that is quite variable in its presentation from one person to the next. We all tend to have greater or lesser abilities to sustain attention to tasks dependent on time, circumstance, and activity. This ability to focus attention not only varies largely from individual to individual, but is likely to vary within each individual as they progress through life. This suggests that most everyone will occasionally demonstrate similar amounts of inattention and distractibility experienced with enough intensity and duration to correspond with an ADHD diagnosis. These recognitions can encourage us to look more closely at the exact nature of ADHD as offered by the DSM-IV. Although some children and adults are accurately identified by ADHD, the fact remains that problems with inattention and distractibility are a commonality of experience in the general population. From my point of view, the challenge to identify ADHD in children must incorporate a range of factors and considerations that occasionally fail to be well represented in the symptom trait checklist for the disorder.

I am a child psychologist recently retired from the public school district. I continue to maintain a private practice devoted to the assessment of ADHD in children. I have recently developed a parent questionnaire that helps parents decide whether to pursue a formal ADHD evaluation for their child. This questionnaire can be viewed at http://www.youadditup.com.

Hearing Impaired? Hearing Aids? Advice for “Deafies” and those who put up with us Thursday, May 29 2008

I have always had a hearing impairment. I was born with a 70% hearing loss in both ears. While I had a mother who was sensitive to my disability, I never believed there was anything wrong wth me. As a child, I refused to wear hearing aids.

When, at 19 years-of-age, I bought one hearing aid, it was as if someone turned the sound up. I felt even more invincible. By the time I was 30, I knew I needed aids in both ears. It was not for 25 more years that I would learn that hearing aids alone were not enough.

Granted, most persons who don’t hear very well do need hearing aids. If they think they will look stupid wearing aids, these people have no idea how stupid they appear to others without them. When one gives crazy answers to sane questions ~ and misunderstands what others say ~ they don’t appear to be very bright. Amplification normally helps a great deal, even if perfect hearing is not attainable for many of us.

Consider this: Use of hearing aids might prevent you from being diagnosed as senile when you get older or loose the understanding companion who has always made allowances for you.

Yet, even with good hearing aids, I have only now come come to understand that it is my responsibility to not do those things which irritate normal hearing people ~ when I can control those very things.

If I am in another room, I have no business asking questions ~ or initiating conversations ~ which I will likely not hear right. To do so can only cause a person with normal hearing to take on unearned aggravation.

If I wish to engage in a conversation, I should make certain that the other person is close enough for me to have the best chance of hearing. And when others speak to me, ask that they do so in a hearing environment where I will understand ~ “Because I don’t want to ask you repeat yourself.” I expect the same courtesy of others that they should reasonably expect of me.

When I enter a room and see some people cocking their heads, looking at the ceiling confused, I should be sensitive enough to realize that my hearing aids are probably on too loud without someone asking, “What’s that noise?” Yes, often in an effort to hear better, I have cranked my hearing aids up to a point of “Feedback” which ~ although I can not hear it ~ many people do. Frustrated, associates have screamed, “You’re beeping!” Perhaps, my right to hear should be restricted to the point where other people’s sanity endures?

I have great difficulty communicating on the telephone. It was not uncommon for me to already be on the phone and to request assistance of the closest person to me to be my ears ~ for just a moment. I expected that person to drop everything and help me. How unfair? I have sense learned to say, “In a few minutes, I need to make a call. When you are free, would you mind being my ears if I need some?” I no longer expect everyone to allow me to interrupt them just because ~ through my lack of planning ~ I need help “Now!”

While I am on the subject, we who require special effort on other’s part to engage in conversation with us, need to learn not to begin talking to them if they are engaged in an activity which will necessitate their relocation to accommodate us, allow us to see their lips, etc.

Hopefully, I’ve learned I don’t have to talk all of the time. All of my life, I had attempted to masquerade as a normal person. The fact is, if you can’t hear ~ you are not normal! While really not wanting my captive audience to talk ~ because I knew that I would not be able to hear what they said ~ it was much easier to talk than to listen.

Now, I tell the truth. “I can’t hear what you are saying. It is not your fault, but my poor hearing. Please speak more loudly to me. And if I give you an inappropriate response, I will not be offended if you tell me that you don’t think that I understood what you said. In fact, I’d really appreciate it.”

My best advice to persons who can’t hear: Don’t try to “Fake it.” Maybe, you will get away with making like you understand the conversations? Yet, more than likely ~ and more often than you will ever know ~ others will think that you really didn’t care what they had to say.

Being hearing impaired is hard ~ not just on we “Deafies” ~ but those who put up with us too.

Emotionally Packed Words Will Earn You More Money Thursday, May 29 2008

Daryl Benn conducted a study on how advertisers use word choice and catch phrases to sell different, but identical in effectiveness, brands of aspirin. Consider the following: Brand A: proclaims 100 percent pure, claims nothing is stronger. Benn notes that governmental tests also showed no brand was weaker or less effective than any of the others. Brand B: advertises “unsurpassed in speed–no other brand works faster.” The same governmental tests showed “B” works no faster than any of the others. Brand C: declares it used an ingredient “that doctors recommend.” Governmental tests revealed that “special ingredient” is nothing more than regular aspirin.

The words we use can hurt others and cause tension and resentment. Words can even cause wars. Humans tend to create and use words that hurt or label. Hitler used labeling and name-calling during his rule in Germany. He called the Jews many negative things, including “vermin”, “sludge”, “garbage”, “lice”, “sewage”, and “insects.” Labels also extend far beyond the names people are given, into the way we describe things in a negative light, such as, “broken home,” “single-parent family,” or “blended family.” Whereas we think of theses terms as essentially neutral, the words can carry significant negative weight to those people to whom the terms apply.

As you design your persuasive message, you must consider the emotional impact of each word and phrase. When you want to create emotion, choose words that will trigger feelings. If you want to downplay the event or situation, use an unemotional word. Notice the following words generally have the same definition but carry different emotional weight, for example, calling someone “thrifty” versus “cheap,” “traditional” versus “old-fashioned,” “extroverted” versus “loud,” “careful” versus “cowardly,” and “eccentric” versus “strange.”

There are many words that are emotionally loaded and represent different values to different people. These words can get people to pay attention and alert them to know what significance the message has for them. It is hard to find a neutral word. Your word choice will paint different pictures for different people because the way we define words is based on our belief systems, our past experiences, and our social roles. The beliefs we hold about a word will dictate our actions and how we respond. For example, some cultures view death as a celebration of life; others view death as a tragedy.

Sometimes, if used improperly, positive words can still lead to a negative response. For this reason, persuaders will often avoid certain words, although generally positive, and instead use words that may still bear positive associations, but are more ambiguous. For example, in the world of politics we hear phrases like “freedom of choice,” “fiscal responsibility,” or “responsible taxation.” When politicians use such generalities, people of differing viewpoints can actually both be appeased. They will fill in the blanks and provide their own definitions.

Words can convey emotional color by how long or short they are. Generally, shorter words are more blunt, direct, harsh, or sharp. Consider words like “kick,” “hit,” “force,” “stop,” or “no.” Longer words, like “lonely,” “depressed,” or “painful” are drawn out to evoke colors of melancholy or suffering.

Advertisers know that changing just one word in their ad can dramatically increase the response rate. One advertiser changed the word “repair” to “fix” and saw a 20 percent increase in response.

There are other words advertisers employ, which are known as “weasel words”. These words confuse their audience and don’t allow you to put an exact number on the advertiser’s claim. They let you justify and believe what you want. They are called “weasel words” because weasels are notorious for breaking into the chicken coop and sucking out the inside of the eggs without breaking the shell. The eggs look fine but in reality are hollow and empty, just like these words. Watch out for these words:

* Helps
* May
* Possibly
* Improved
* Up to
* Almost
* About
* Approximately

Application Questions

Do the words you use trigger a positive or negative response in your prospects?

What weasel words to you use and do these words detract from your message?

What is the one word in your presentation that is taking away from your message?

Learning how to persuade and influence will make the difference between hoping for a better income and having a better income. It is the missing puzzle piece that will crack the code to dramatically increase your income, improve your relationships, and help you get what you want, when you want, and win friends for life. Ask yourself how much money and income you have lost because of your inability to persuade and influence. Think about it. Sure you’ve seen some success, but think of the times you couldn’t get it done. Has there ever been a time when you did not get your point across? Were you unable to convince someone to do something? Have you reached your full potential? Are you able to motivate yourself and others to achieve more and accomplish their goals? What about your relationships? Imagine being able to overcome objections before they happen, know what your prospect is thinking and feeling, feel more confident in your ability to persuade.

Calculate Food Quantities for Camping and Outdoor Recreation Wednesday, May 28 2008

As the warmer weather approaches, we look forward to another
season of camping and enjoying the fun, relaxation, and beauty
that the outdoor environment has to offer. I am anxious to get out on weekends to some of my favorite campsites around Kentucky
and Indiana. Of course I’ll have plenty of fishing gear to bring along in case some of my family or friends join in on the adventures that are sure to come with each outing. This is the most enjoyable thing for me when I see others having a great time hiking, fishing, throwing Frisbees, or sitting around the campfire telling stories or singing campfire songs.

There are several things I try to consider before I begin packing for
a camping trip. First of course, is how long will I be gone? How
much time do I have to get away from the “9 to 5″, unwind and get
refreshed by the fresh air, sunshine, and peaceful scenery that nature provides so abundantly? This summer, I’m going to try to get out more frequently on the weekends so I’ll talk a little about short outings that are not too distant from home. This will allow me more time for what I actually want to do, and that of course, is to camp. I don’t want to spend 5 hours going and 5 hours coming, using basically a whole day just for traveling. If I pick a place that’s within a 100 mile radius, I should be able to find several dozen places to visit and spend less than 4 hours of total travel time.

Ok, that sound great, I can think of a dozen places within 100 miles right of the top of my head. Lake Monroe, where my youngest son and I visited last year, is only 1 hour and 45 minutes from my home. That was a great weekend camping trip and my daughter and her friends at IU came from Bloomington to join in the fun. Several of the girls had not fished much at all, and I had more fun than they did watching them scream and holler as we caught over 70 bluegill. It was a great thrill for them to actually catch, clean, and eat fresh fish. Most of the panfish were a little on the small side, but I had them keep them for several reasons. One of course, is the fish sometimes swallow the hook and it’s nearly impossible to throw them back when this happens. Another reason I sometimes keep small bluegill, is that it helps other aquatic life to have more abundant food sources. Anyway, after we cleaned them all, they were absolutely delicious dipped in a bowl of egg and milk, rolled in cracker crumbs and cornmeal, and fried to a golden brown. And of course we had several bags to take home, which seemed like it made the camping trip last longer than just the weekend.

But let’s get back to some of the essentials of planning your weekend camping trip. After you’ve decided on how much time you have, you will need to consider how many nature lovers are going camping. That’s usually the easy part. So if you’ve got 5 people going, and you’re going to be gone for two nights and two days, you’ll want to figure how many meals that will be. I’d say it will be in the neighborhood of 2 dinners, 2 breakfast, and 2 lunches, not including snack times. So we’ll need enough food for 10 people (5 x 2) for essentially one day. That should calculate to an average of 8-10 ounces of meat per person, 8-10 ounces of vegetables and fruit per person, and 8-10 servings of bread or grains per two persons. You can also use the 8-10 rule for your drinks for a total of 8-10, (8-10 oz.
drinks) including water, per person per day. This may seem like a lot of liquid, but when you consider 3 meals a day and an additional drink in between, you are already at 6 drinks a day. Remember, dehydration is a major cause of heat stroke. If you’re going hiking, swimming, or playing any type of running sport, this will easily bring the drink count up an additional 3 or more for a total of 9 drinks a day. Let’s make an easy formula to go by.

—————————————————————————

FOOD QUANTITY FORMULA

5 people for 2 days = (5 x 2 = 10)
10 x 8-10 ounces = (80-100 ounces meat) or 5-6 lbs.
10 x 8-10 ounces = (80-100 ounces fruits and veggies) or 5-6 lbs.
8-10 servings bread or grain per (2) persons
8-10 (8-10 oz. drinks) per person (per day)

NOTE: Hard cheeses such as American and Swiss include in meat weight.
Soft cheeses such as cultures add to fruits and vegetables weight.
Eggs may be separate.

—————————————————————————

So that’s a pretty good rule of thumb to go by for your “3 squares.” If you like to snack, which goes great with camping, bring along your chips, marshmallows, or no bake cookies and you’ll never go hungry. Don’t forget the milk if your bring chocolate.

About Debt Collection Agencies Wednesday, May 28 2008

Debt collection agencies act on behalf of creditors to collect debts when the creditors don’t have the time or resources to chase down severely overdue debts for themselves. Collection agencies specialize in this kind of work which means they have staff that specializes in debt collection, which covers a broad range of legal and negotiating skills, and a streamlined process for pursuing accounts.

As a creditor, when you hire an collection agency, they are assigned the job of collecting the debt. Normally, if the agency is successful in debt collection the collection agency will retain a percentage of the amount collected as payment for services.

Typically, collection agencies do not take over the debt. The debtor does not actually owe them money. It still owes to the creditor. But the collection agency will provide evidence (known as debt validation) that they have been empowered to collection the debt on behalf of the creditor.

Occasionally, collection agencies will purchase the debt from the creditor. However, usually all that the collection agencies acquire is the right to carry out the process of debt collection.

All collection agencies are governed by federal laws and no collection agency is, or wishes to be in, the business of collecting fraudulent debts. However, when acting on behalf of a legitimate creditor they will take all legal steps to enforce the collection of badly overdue accounts, if necessary going to court on behalf of the creditor.

Selecting Golf Equipment that Compliments You and Your Swing - 4 Tips for Making the Best Choice Wednesday, May 28 2008

Tip #1 - Ignore The Hype - Pay Attention To Your Needs!

As a recreational golfer, you probably don’t pay that much attention to the golf equipment that you buy. Industry has a way to hype its sales pitch by its marketing gurus and most recreational buyers pay attention to the hype instead of their own needs.

Today’s equipment has certainly come a long way and shafts, club heads and balls certainly do perform the way that the makers claim. However, the secret is finding a club maker and/or a club fitter that knows you and your swing and can recommend the right equipment for you.

Tip #2 - Let Your Clubs Fit YOU!

Whether you are 5-foot-6 or 6-foot-6, the average golf club will not be right for you. The lie and loft will change dramatically due to arm and leg length. Finding a good club maker or club fitter that understands these requirements can DRASTICALLY shave strokes off your scorecard.

In relation to this, statistics show that the average family has 2.4 children. Well I have never seen two-fifths of a child! With that said, just what is the average person? Again, now you can see why it is imperative that you fit the clubs and the clubs fit you!

Tip #3 - Decide On Your Price And Find A Pro!

Price is most definitely a factor when purchasing new or used clubs. It is of NO use buying expensive clubs and the shaft is the wrong length or stiffness/flex or conversely buying ‘cheap’ clubs when your game is of good quality.

The idea is to have the clubs compliment your specific swing and swing speed. There are subtleties in the making and matching of your golf clubs - swing weight, loft and lie, graphite or even steel. Also, there are different textured grips which can be matched to fit the size of your hand or fingers producing a better bio-mechanical action.

We all have different swing speeds, different swing paths and planes. We are all of different muscle strengths and of course body types. Decide what price range you can realistically afford and find a pro/coach/instructor that can set you up with a set of clubs that will produce the BEST for you. I cannot stress enough that it is ultra important to get the matching equipment for you. Some people are short and some people are tall…choose the right equipment and begin to watch your game improve and lower your scores.

Tip #4 - Use A Lower Spin-Rate Ball!

Today’s golf ball has advanced with technology. Different spin rates and cover materials have allowed the golfer to actually choose a ball that suits both his/her game and the conditions he/she
plays in.

The slicer and hooker can get more distance and straighter shots by using a lower spin rate ball. Cover materials allow for more feel when chipping and putting. There are even tools that will use centrifugal force and a marker pen to produce an ‘equator-type’ line on the ball that aids in alignment and ‘trueness’ of the roll of the ball.

Advancement in equipment is good…make it GOOD for you by selecting the right equipment to enhance your game!
